Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in a critical-access setting, located in Saint Johnsbury Center, Vermont, United States. Start date 06/10/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a weekly pay range of $2,153 to $2,164. Shift pattern is Monday through Friday plus on-call responsibilities. This perioperative role covers pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia recovery care, with opportunities to function as circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU nurse in a versatile OR team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care across all surgical phases: pre-op, intraoperative, and PACU
- Serve in multiple perioperative roles (circulator, scrub nurse, PACU RN) to support safe, efficient operations
- Adhere to AORN standards, conduct time-outs, and document accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain patient safety, participate in sterile technique, and support emergency readiness during procedures
- Participate in on-call coverage, responding within defined time frames to begin cases when alerted
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Vermont or multi-state Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of two years perioperative experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work across multiple perioperative roles with on-site training available as needed
