Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Support mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety.
- Observe and document resident status; report changes to the supervising nurse; maintain accurate care records.
- Provide hygiene, grooming, and skin-care assistance while promoting comfort and dignity.
- Follow individualized care plans and adhere to infection control and safety policies.
- Respond promptly to call bells and deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.
Requirements
- Active New Mexico CNA license in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12) in a long-term care environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow care plans and document clearly
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
