Responsibilities
- Monitor adult patients on cardiac telemetry; identify and respond to dysrhythmias; maintain continuous monitoring and timely escalation
- Provide nursing care for patients with nephrology-related needs, including dialysis-related assessments and coordination with the dialysis team
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support renal replacement therapy as needed
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, document in the EHR (EPIC), and educate patients and families
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (IV team, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, unit secretary, transportation) to support patient safety and throughput
- Ensure unit standards are met, participate in orientation activities, and adhere to unit protocols for infection control and safety

Requirements
- Active Missouri RN license (or pending license accepted per posting)
- Certifications: BCLS and NIH (per posting)
- Peritoneal dialysis experience required (unit prerequisite)
- Experience: 1–2 years RN experience preferred; first-timers accepted; charge nurse experience not required
- Clinical skills: Cardiac telemetry monitoring and basic dysrhythmia management; EPIC experience preferred
- Additional requirements: Ability to work in a 3x12 night schedule, flexibility to float to similar units within the service line, and compliance with facility policies (including vaccination requirements)
