Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures (X-ray) following physician orders and established protocols
- Position patients and equipment to optimize image quality while applying appropriate radiation safety measures
- Select exposure factors, adjust imaging parameters, and ensure overall image quality and documentation
- Verify patient identity and clinical information; maintain accurate records and radiology information in the patient chart
- Collaborate with radiology team to support workflow, provide patient care, and ensure timely interpretation of images
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT Radiography (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a travel assignment
- Spanish language skills preferred (not required)
