Radiology Technician (Radiology Tech) – Chico, California. Start date: 04/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,538-$2,750 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Night, 5x8. Work setting: imaging services with responsibilities spanning inpatient and outpatient imaging in a Level II trauma environment.

Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures per physician orders for adult patients, with readiness to support outpatient imaging as needed.
- Operate radiography equipment, including fluoroscopy when required, maintaining image quality and patient safety.
- Position, shield, and assist patients during procedures; monitor patient comfort and safety throughout imaging.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EPIC EMR, including orders, imaging results, and patient notes; communicate findings to interpreting radiologists as appropriate.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA), infection control, and equipment safety checks; troubleshoot routine equipment issues as authorized.
- Collaborate with radiology teammates and other departments; float to Outpatient Imaging and the main imaging area as needed to support workflow.
Requirements
- California Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) license issued by the California Department of Health Services
- Current CPR certification
- Fluoroscopy permit
- EPIC EMR experience
- 2+ years of acute radiology experience preferred
- Willingness to float to Outpatient Imaging as well as the primary imaging area
