Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room travel assignment in Hanford, California. Start date August 17, 2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,008–$2,169. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (3x12 nights). Setting: a 173-bed short-term acute care hospital serving the Kings County community. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, respond to emergencies, and adjust care as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; delegate duties and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Document care and patient responses in EPIC and Cerner; collaborate on discharge planning and provide education to patients and families.
Requirements
- Current RN license in California (state of practice) or eligibility to practice in the state
- BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- EPIC and Cerner experience required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced ER environment
