Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to Cath Lab patients using the nursing process in alignment with established standards.
- Prepare for procedures, assist with interventional cases, monitor hemodynamics, interpret cardiac rhythms, and support circulating and monitoring roles.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, effective patient care and achievement of expected outcomes.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, manage pain, and provide physical and psychological support as needed.
- Document care activities accurately in the EMR; communicate with patients, families, and visitors; and ensure continuity of care during shift changes.
- Maintain infection control practices, sterile technique, and overall patient safety throughout procedural activities.
Requirements
- Active Arkansas RN license or AR Compact (or equivalent) valid for practice
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications
- 2+ years of RN Cath Lab experience (required)
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms, circulating, and monitoring during interventional procedures (required)
- MediTech EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work in a Cath Lab travel assignment environment
- Must have own vehicle for travel assignment
- Documentation: current work history, skills checklist (Cath Lab relevant), and 2 Supervisory Reference Forms (within the last two years)
- Profile must include travel-required details and scheduling considerations at submission
