Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient population using the nursing process and established standards.
- Collect data, assess health status, identify care issues, and contribute to the care plan.
- Implement and coordinate care, administer medications, monitor responses, document in the chart, and adjust care as needed.
- Collaborate with the care team and other disciplines; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff; maintain a safe, healing environment and respond to clinical changes or emergencies.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adherence to infection control practices, and commitment to the patient’s safety and wellbeing.
Requirements
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; CPR as applicable per policy
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and float to Medical‑Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Epic experience and tele/mS float capability strongly preferred
