Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care for a range of conditions.
- Conduct initial evaluations, set goals, monitor progress, and document findings in the patient record.
- Deliver PT interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate.
- Reassess and adjust plans based on patient response; coordinate care with referring physicians, inpatient teams, and other therapists.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and functional goals; participate in discharge planning and follow-up as needed.
- Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with hospital policies during all therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license (state-specific) in good standing
- Ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment; must reside at least 65 miles away from the facility (radius rule)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Availability to start on or before 04/27/2026
