ER Registered Nurse available for a travel temporary assignment in a hospital setting in Atlanta, GA. Start date: May 18, 2026. Eight-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Weekly pay range: $1,602–$1,618 per week. This role is in a high-volume Emergency Department with a float pool, where duties may include tending to boarder patients and, when needed, floating to adjacent acute units such as med/surg, stepdown, or ICU.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, documentation, and disposition planning.
- Triage and manage patient acuity, prioritizing care for a high-volume patient load; collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient flow.
- Administer medications and IV fluids per physician orders; monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
- Coordinate with ED staff, physicians, case management, and ancillary teams to facilitate safe discharges, admissions, and bed placement.
- Provide care for boarder patients and, when necessary, float to appropriate acute units (med/surg, stepdown, ICU) based on unit needs.
- Maintain readiness for ED codes and rapid responses; support ED procedures and ED-specific workflows; complete required ED skills documentation.

Requirements
- Active RN license applicable to practice in the assignment location (Georgia)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized Level 1 trauma facility
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED and float to other units as needed
- Resume with no gaps; ED skills checklist and ED references
- Demographic data and badge photo loaded as part of the application process
