Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) in Kapaa, Hawaii, United States. Start date 07/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment with a weekly pay range of $2,294 to $2,427. Shift: Any (variable). Setting: hospital. This travel assignment does not guarantee a fixed number of hours. The role includes opportunities to float to other departments as needed during the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including initial assessment, triage, monitor vitals, administer medications, establish IV access, and manage acute conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and support staff to develop and execute patient care plans and to ensure efficient patient throughput
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; communicate handoffs clearly during transitions of care
- Respond to ED events and codes, ensuring patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical protocols
- Float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed to support patient care and unit operations; participate in unit-specific rounds and discharge planning
- Adhere to regulatory requirements and facility policies, including privacy, safety, andQuality/Performance Improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Shifts: Ability to work variable shifts; need to be available for a 7:00 a.m. start on Mondays (no exceptions)
- Floatability: Willing and able to float to Long Term Care or ICU departments as needed
- Start date: Must align with the target start date of 07/06/2026
- Location: Eligible to practice in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction and participate in a travel assignment
- Additional considerations: Relevant clinical competencies consistent with ER practice; ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
