Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to orders, ensuring image quality and patient safety
- Properly position patients and select imaging parameters; verify exam details and document findings
- Operate radiology equipment, apply radiation safety principles, and maintain ALARA standards
- Review images for technical adequacy; communicate results to radiologists and clinical staff
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot routine issues, and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with radiology team, nursing, and physicians to support patient care and workflow
Requirements
- Active Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license in hand prior to submittal
- ARRT (LRT) certification
- BLS certification
- Education: graduate of a two-year accredited Radiology Technology program
- Experience: minimum 1 year of recent Radiology Tech experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and support weekend/night coverage
