Registered Nurse – CVICU in Lodi, California. This travel, temporary assignment starts 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn between $2,313 and $2,474 per week, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Nights, 3x12-hour blocks. Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient status, develop and implement care plans, and adjust interventions as needed in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and manage symptoms in alignment with palliative and hospice principles.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, providing guidance and mentorship as appropriate.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines, ensure safe patient transitions, and maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional and supervisory judgment, and independent decision-making to optimize patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility and ability to obtain licensure in a timely manner)
- Relevant CVICU/critical care experience; ICU experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a home hospice care setting
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Education: Nursing degree (ASN/BSN) from an accredited program
