Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including adult echocardiography and other ultrasound modalities as assigned
- Obtain high-quality images, optimize equipment settings, and ensure proper patient positioning and safety
- Document findings and maintain accurate patient records in the imaging information system
- Participate in department quality assurance activities and maintain equipment and clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care and transfer as needed
- Pursue continuing education and maintain required certifications; adhere to department policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RDCS (A) certification
- Completion of an ECHO training program
- Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flu vaccine required
- Multimodality ultrasound experience preferred
- Travel eligibility: must reside at least 50 miles away from the assignment site
