Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents per physician orders and facility policies
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects; document in the electronic charting system
- Perform ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and escalate changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to update care plans and communicate updates to residents and families as appropriate
- Ensure safety, infection control, toileting and ADL assistance, fall prevention, and continuity of care during shifts
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (Nebraska) or eligibility; license submission to the client as required
- BLS Certification
- Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC) or willingness to learn
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and meet the schedule (including every other weekend and holiday)
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel assignment and comply with facility orientation and procedures
