Role specifics and benefits: as the CT Technologist on assignment, your core responsibilities will center on delivering safe, high-quality CT imaging while upholding patient comfort and workflow efficiency. Key duties include preparing and positioning patients for a range of CT protocols, verifying orders, and administering or coordinating contrast administration with strict adherence to safety guidelines. You’ll operate multi-slice CT scanners, adjust technical factors, perform reconstructions and post-processing, and ensure images are promptly transferred to PACS with accurate labeling and documentation. You’ll collaborate closely with radiologists and fellow technologists to review images, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. You’ll participate in dose optimization practices, radiation safety, and infection control, while maintaining meticulous patient records, inventory, and equipment maintenance checks.
