Registered Nurse - Long-Term Care (Travel) in Roseau, Minnesota. Start date May 20, 2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff across households, guiding infection control, safety, wound management, RAI/ MDS processes, and other areas as determined by leadership.
- Implement and supervise clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient practices; oversee documentation, medication administration, resident care, safety, sanitation, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate resident care with other nursing staff and outside providers; ensure high-quality nursing assessments and evaluations and appropriate care planning.
- Support household operations to maintain fiscal viability through efficient use of staffing and resources; align staffing patterns with organizational goals and available resources.
- Foster collaboration, consensus, and problem-solving within the household; interpret and communicate clinical policies to staff and residents or their representatives as needed.
- Maintain professional relationships with physicians, other medical professionals, and internal departments to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services; deliver dementia-sensitive care that emphasizes person-centered approaches and resident well-being.
Requirements
- Ability to perform nursing duties and lead clinical staff within a hospital setting
- Experience or capacity to manage infection control, safety, wound management, and RAI/MDS-related activities
- Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills
- Demonstrated ability to promote dementia-sensitive, person-centered care
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate care with multiple stakeholders
