Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Travel assignment starts 05/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,041–$2,198. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule (3x12) with weekend rotation; on-call shifts may be required per unit policy. Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for adults in Med-Surg/Telemetry, including observation unit patients
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans using the nursing process
- Administer medications, monitor effects, and respond to adverse events or changes in clinical status
- Monitor telemetry, vital signs, and lab results; recognize and escalate acute changes in patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the care team; educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Document accurately in the electronic health record and ensure patient safety; participate in required on-call rotation
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience; at least 3 years RN Med Surg experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; willingness to participate in on-call shifts as required
