Registered Nurse – Med Surg in a travel assignment supporting an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA, United States. The start date is May 18, 2026, for an 8-week assignment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical–surgical patients, with emphasis on ortho/trauma surgical cases
- Assess patient conditions, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, monitor vitals, and manage IV therapy
- Collaborate with surgical teams, physical therapy, case management, and ancillary staff; communicate findings with patients and families
- Document accurately in the electronic health record; follow unit protocols for care plans, postoperative care, and patient education
- Maintain safety and infection control standards; assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; respond to changes in patient status and emergencies as needed
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility) and ability to work in the listed location
- Minimum 2 years of ortho/trauma surgical Med/Surg experience in a hospital of similar size
- Strong ortho/trauma surgical skills and competency in postoperative care
- Resume with no gaps greater than 60 days; Skills Checklist; References; Certification Card; Nursys License Verification
- Ability to load all demographic information into profile, including badge-appropriate photo
- No RTO (no time off requests) during the assignment
