Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU (Cardiac) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 09/20/2026. Contract length: 16 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 2x3 days. This hospital setting features a hybrid PCU/IMCU unit with a cardiac population and a mix of step-down and telemetry medical-surgical patients. The 28-bed unit cares for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P cases, with cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a hybrid PCU/IMCU setting with cardiac conditions, including STEMI/NSTEMI and chest-pain syndromes.
- Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to physiologic changes; administer and titrate cardiac medications, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors per protocol.
- Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans; escalate to physicians as needed.
- Manage infusion therapies, monitor hemodynamic status, and document all orders and patient responses in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and family education, coordinate care activities, and support discharge planning; uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards.
- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower-acuity patients as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a facility of similar size or in a PCU/IMCU with cardiac population
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and administration of cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid 28-bed unit and to sustain a 2x3-day schedule
- Eligible for travel assignment and able to complete credentialing as required
