Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care for adult medical-surgical telemetry patients, including ongoing assessment and documentation
- Monitor cardiac telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, and respond promptly to dysrhythmias
- Administer prescribed medications and manage IV therapies, ensuring safe medication practices
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and maintain accurate EHR documentation and handoffs
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and care coordination to optimize transitions
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards; participate in emergency responses as part of the unit team

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience
- Pass Telemetry Competency Exam (onboarding requirement)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Ability to float to like units and overflow areas as needed
- Onboarding includes pass/fail ECG/Telemetry and medications tests prior to assignment; one attempt; 85% passing score
