Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, York, Maine, United States. This travel, temporary assignment begins 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week on the night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am). Weekly pay ranges from $1,656 to $1,802. The assignment takes place in a hospital setting with three 12-hour shifts per week, no on-call, and every other weekend required.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for Medical-Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans
- Monitor and document patient status, vitals, and responses to therapies; utilize telemetry data as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; manage IV lines and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (physicians, case management, and other nurses) to develop and implement care plans
- Document care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Respond to changes in patient condition with rapid assessment and escalation as appropriate; uphold infection control and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Maine
- ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
- Prior Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required by the State of Maine
- Ability to work the described night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) and participate in the 3-night-per-week schedule
