- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement care plans for students with health needs.
- Promote student wellness and participate in health education and preventive health activities.
Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license (state-specific licensure required for practice; ability to obtain school nurse credentials as required by state/policy)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to work in a school-based setting and follow school policies, privacy, and confidentiality requirements
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain as required
- Prior experience in pediatric care, school health, or related settings is advantageous
- Ability to pass background checks and credentialing as required by the assignment
