Responsibilities
- Circulate and provide perioperative nursing care across Pre-op, OR, PACU Phase I/II, and Endoscopy, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.
- Manage obstetric procedures as needed, including circulating for C-sections (hardstop), and support general, orthopedic, ENT, GI, gynecologic, dental, and ambulatory procedures.
- Monitor patients during anesthesia, support conscious sedation in Endoscopy, administer medications as ordered, and manage IV access and specimen handling.
- Maintain adherence to universal protocols and time-outs; respond to rapid responses; coordinate with PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, and other interdisciplinary teams.
- Document in Epic; track patient progress from pre-op through discharge; adapt to unit needs with a flexible approach and the ability to float within surgical services.

Requirements
- Valid RN license in Montana or a Compact state (accepted per posting) at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; experience in a Critical Access Hospital required
- Perioperative nursing experience, including circulating for C-sections; Endoscopy support and conscious sedation monitoring
- Proficiency with Epic EMR; ability to work in a rural hospital setting; ability to float within surgical services as needed
- References: two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Pre-start modules required (approx. 16 hours); completion tracked in the assignment process
