Responsibilities
- Develop external beam radiotherapy treatment plans for patients under supervision of the radiation oncology team, using Eclipse Treatment Planning System.
- Contour targets and organs at risk; translate prescriptions and imaging data into effective dose distributions.
- Perform plan optimization, dose calculations, and plan QA to ensure accuracy and safety in accordance with department protocols.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and dosimetry staff to review and finalize treatment plans; communicate plan status and any required changes to the treatment team.
- Maintain accurate dosimetry records and documentation in patient charts; participate in plan reviews and dose checks as part of standard patient care.
Requirements
- Certification: CMD (Certified Dosimetrist) required
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of dosimetry experience
- Skills: Proficiency with Eclipse Treatment Planning System
- Licensure/Education: Active CMD certification
- Setting: Ability to work on-site in a hospital-based radiation oncology department (Days shift)
- Compliance: Must be available for a travel assignment with start date aligned to facility needs
