Travel Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) in Mc Gregor, Iowa. This 13-week travel assignment starts on 04/20/2026 with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to LTC residents in alignment with care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and document in the chart
- Assess resident status, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Perform routine LTC procedures such as wound care, catheter care, and appropriate IV therapy per policy
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and communicate changes to the care team
- Uphold infection control practices, prioritize resident safety, and support family communication as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Iowa
- Ability to work the listed night shift schedule (3x12-hour nights) and meet guaranteed 40 hours
- Experience in or knowledge of long-term care/geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans, protocols, and state regulations; comfortable working in a team-based LTC environment
