Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Travel) in Fort Bragg, California. Start date 06/08/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $1,866-$1,971. Shift: 3x12 nights (36 hours per week). Work setting: hospital emergency department. The ER department provides triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care environment. This contract covers the ER patient flow during nights and requires collaboration with the trauma and emergency care team.

Responsibilities
- Perform triage, assessment and initial stabilization for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting
- Administer medications, initiate treatments and assist physicians with urgent procedures
- Monitor patient status, interpret vital signs, and respond to clinical changes to maintain patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and ensure timely flow through the ER
- Document observations, interventions and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Prepare for trauma activations when indicated and provide ongoing patient and family support as appropriate
Requirements
- Active RN license (as applicable to practice in the U.S.)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) as required by department protocol
- ER/trauma care experience preferred; ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with acute care nursing duties, triage processes, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts; able to maintain performance and safety standards during overnight hours
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and adapt to a hospital ER setting in Fort Bragg
