This travel PTA role is performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and focuses on delivering physical therapy services to patients in a home health setting. The assignment serves a rural patient population with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and support patient and family psycho-social needs. The position supports local travel within the assigned area.

Responsibilities
- Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist, under supervision
- Provide non-complex active and passive manual therapies, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities as appropriate
- Document client status daily, weekly, or monthly and submit clinical paperwork on time
- Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
- Notify the supervising PT, Clinical Manager, or Director of equipment issues, supply changes, or patient/department changes
- Schedule clients and perform varied office tasks related to the service delivery
- Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
- Accept clinical assignments within education and competence; travel locally as needed
- Promote compliance with third-party payors through education and assistance
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy – Required
- Proof of current CPR certification – Required
- Current driver’s license – Required
- Reliable transportation and insurance – Required
- 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant – Required
- Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program – Required
- Ability to work in a home health/travel setting and travel locally as assigned
