Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Los Angeles, California. Start date 04/27/2026. Duration 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,840–$1,920 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications as ordered, and document outcomes accurately.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, respond promptly, and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team; ensure safe handoffs and continuity of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding disease processes, symptom management, and advance care planning; participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
- Maintain compliance with clinical policies, safety standards, and documentation practices; clock in to the appropriate unit when assigned as part of Float Pool requirements.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligible to practice in California)
- 2+ years of ER or high-acuity clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts; comfortable providing care in a home healthcare - hospice setting
- RN degree (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel as part of a travel assignment and to work in diverse home healthcare environments
