Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – Travel assignment in Lanham, MD. Start date 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,471–$2,693 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (08:00–16:30) in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing physical therapy assessments for residents in a skilled nursing setting.
- Develop, document, and implement individualized therapy plans targeting mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
- Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and modalities per treatment plan; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Document progress notes, treatment goals, and outcomes; communicate findings to the interdisciplinary care team and family members.
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; assist with discharge planning and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Active physical therapy license in Maryland (state of practice).
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent; eligible for licensure in Maryland.
- 1+ year of physical therapy experience, preferably in skilled nursing or geriatric care.
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing setting and with an interdisciplinary team.
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 05/11/2026 and ability to work a shift from 08:00 to 16:30.
