Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Atlanta, GA. Start date 04/20/2026 for 8 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $1,571–$1,620 per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights. Hospital setting involving Med Surg patient care with an emphasis on ortho/trauma surgical cases.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med Surg unit with emphasis on ortho/trauma surgical patients, including post-operative care and rehabilitation support.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor for adverse effects, and perform routine neurovascular checks.
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (surgeons, physical therapy, case management) to optimize pain control, mobility, wound care, and discharge planning.
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record, including vital signs, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in patient condition.
- Respond promptly to clinical changes, participate in rapid response or Code scenarios as needed, and uphold patient safety and infection control standards.
- Communicate clearly with families and caregivers, provide patient education, and ensure adherence to ortho/trauma care protocols and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Active RN license with Nursys license verification on file; Georgia licensure preferred for assignment in Atlanta.
- Certification Card on file; appropriate clinical certifications as required for med surg/ortho-trauma care.
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience with ortho/trauma surgical skills in a setting of similar size.
- Must be able to work in a hospital Med Surg setting; no RTO (no time off requests) during the assignment.
- Candidate profile should include: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, and certification verification.
