Travel Registered Nurse LTAC Job
Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) travel assignment in a hospital-based LTAC setting. Location: United States. Start date: 06/08/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $1,894–$1,904 per week. This role supports geriatric residents in a long-term care environment with wound care needs and no tracheostomy care required. Key duties include direct patient care, assessments, documentation, and implementation of the nursing plan of care, along with supervision of LPN and CNA colleagues.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct nursing assessments, document findings, and implement the nursing care plan
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses; manage wound care as needed
- Oversee and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs; supervise care delivery to ensure safety and quality
- Monitor residents for changes in condition; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for timely interventions
- Communicate clearly with families and internal teams; ensure accurate handoffs and comprehensive documentation
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license (active); NY license only accepted
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a geriatric LTAC environment
- Experience with wound care; no tracheostomy care required
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills; able to supervise licensed and ancillary staff
