Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology procedures under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager.
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients for IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures.
- Ensure safe, age-appropriate patient care and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to department procedures and radiation safety standards.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative in supporting procedure workflows and image quality.
Requirements
- Active state radiologic technologist license or eligibility as required by Georgia regulations.
- Experience in interventional radiology, vascular hybrid, or neuro-interventional settings preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional environments.
- Education in Radiologic Technology or equivalent credential as required by state.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to adapt to a fast-paced, procedural setting.
