Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology exams and procedures per department procedures, under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager
- Set up imaging equipment and position patients for IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic studies with independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative
- Ensure patient safety and deliver age-appropriate care throughout the procedure
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control, and equipment readiness; assist with post-procedure care as needed
- Document procedures accurately and communicate findings or concerns to the care team; collaborate with the interventional team, anesthesia, and nursing to optimize outcomes
Requirements
- Current radiologic technologist license and certification as required by state and department
- Certification in radiologic technology (ARRT) and any interventional radiology-specific credentials as applicable
- Experience with interventional radiology procedures in IR, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional settings
- Ability to independently perform job functions, including equipment setup and patient positioning
- Strong patient care, communication, and safety skills
- Availability for the 09/07/2026 start date, days shift, and a 13-week travel assignment
