Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Randolph, Vermont. Start date 04/06/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range $1,902-$2,098 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three consecutive nights per week. Work setting is an emergency department in an acute care, hospital-adjacent environment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ED patients, including initial assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing reassessment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, analgesia, and other treatments as ordered; assist with procedures as needed
- Monitor vital signs, interpret trends, recognize evolving crises, and respond to emergencies including rapid sequence and codes
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate plan of care with the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff to ensure timely triage, treatment, stabilization, and disposition
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and privacy standards; comply with department protocols and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Active Vermont registered nurse license
- Minimum 2 years ED or emergency department experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC certifications
- TNCC and/or CEN certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and manage patient care within typical ED ratios (1:3–1:5)
- Education: graduation from an approved nursing program (RN)
