Travel Registered Nurse – ER in Austell, Georgia. Start date: 05/18/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,659–$1,703 per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week). Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered emergency nursing care across a spectrum of acuity in the ED.
- Conduct rapid patient assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring; recognize early warning signs and respond appropriately.
- Administer prescribed medications and perform routine ED procedures; establish IV access and manage lines as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record; communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Support patient safety and comfort; participate in ED protocols, prepare patients for discharge or transfer, and assist with resuscitation during emergencies when required.
Requirements
- Active Georgia RN license
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ED environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Completion of a nursing program with licensure in Georgia; adherence to Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics standards
