Licensure and certification must be in place by start: Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist, ARRT in Radiation Therapy (T), and Basic Life Support (BLS). The role requires proficiency with Varian TrueBeam and ARIA EMR.

Responsibilities
- Independently perform a variety of radiation therapy treatments, simulations, treatment planning, and fabrication of specialized treatment aides per physician prescriptions.
- Manage a high-volume daily workflow, treating approximately 25–30 patients per day.
- Operate a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and use ARIA EMR for treatment delivery and documentation.
- Implement treatment modalities including 3D conformal therapy, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons; perform set-ups for all treatment sites within a comprehensive cancer care program.
- Assess patient status within the scope of growth and development across the lifespan; provide age-appropriate care and education; collaborate with the oncology team to meet individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR, ensure radiation safety standards, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Requirements
- Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a Radiation Therapist; Hawaii license required by start of assignment.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy (T).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience with imaging procedures/techniques.
- Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR.
- Ability to treat 25–30 patients per day and work within rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment; start date cannot be accepted if on-time arrival is not possible.
