Travel Registered Nurse PCU Job
Registered Nurse - PCU Travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week, with weekly pay between $1,715 and $1,780. Shift: 2x3 Nights. This hospital-based PCU/IMCU position focuses on a cardiac population in a 28-bed unit, with potential assignment to telemetry beds in the same unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in a PCU/IMCU with cardiac diagnoses, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics; administer and titrate cardiac drips as ordered (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors)
- Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to implement and adjust care plans
- Administer medications, perform routine procedures, and document accurately in the electronic medical record
- Respond to changes in patient status; participate in rapid assessment and escalation as needed
- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit to support varying acuity levels
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of documented PCU experience in a facility of similar size
- Demonstrated PCU/IMCU experience in work history
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work in a high-acuity cardiac unit with patient ratios around 1:3–4
- Competence in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of rhythms, and management of cardiac drips
- Willingness to comply with onboarding and credentialing requirements as part of the assignment
