Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Lodi, CA. Start date 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on 12-hour evening shifts (3x12). Earn $506-$528 per week. Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, patient-centered nursing care in the ED, including initial assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing re-evaluation.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care, planning disposition and ensuring timely throughput.
- Document care in the electronic health record accurately and promptly; communicate changes in patient status to the team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff as assigned; maintain clinical standards and patient safety.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in high-acuity situations; uphold infection control practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts and adapt to a fast-paced ED environment.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain patient safety standards.
