Travel Surgical Tech Job
Surgical Tech – Travel assignment in an acute-care surgical setting in Watertown, NY. Start date 05/25/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,822–$1,969 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8 hours. This travel temporary assignment places you on a surgical team in a hospital-type environment, providing patient care support in the operating room.

Responsibilities
- Scrub for procedures in the operating room, maintaining a sterile field and assisting the surgical team as directed
- Prepare the patient and equipment, ensuring all instrumentation is ready and functioning properly
- Assist surgeons during procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and devices as needed
- Participate in cleaning, sterilization, and reprocessing of equipment and OR environments
- Support in intraoperative activities and respond efficiently to changing situations
- May precept and mentor new staff as assigned
Requirements
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Experience: Must have travel experience; orthopedic surgical experience and scrubbing experience strongly preferred; DaVinci/robotic surgery experience preferred
- Licensing/Education: Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible
- Certifications: BLS required; continuing education of 15 CEUs per year
- General: Ability to work in an OR environment, adhere to sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team
