Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU, including neuro/med, CTICU, and trauma populations.
- Manage patients requiring CRRT (Prismaflex) and monitor hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neurological parameters (including ICP monitoring and TTM as applicable).
- Utilize EPIC for charting; administer medications, monitor ventilator support, and interpret diagnostic data; respond promptly to patient condition changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case management to develop and revise care plans; participate in huddles and care conferences.
- Floating to other units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless specifically holding), with charge nurse responsibilities considered a plus.
- Adhere to unit protocols and safety standards; support quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient and family education.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with NURSYS verification; all active RN licenses must be verified.
- 2+ years of ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU) with documentation of travel experience.
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications; NIHSS certification preferred.
- EMR proficiency, specifically EPIC.
- Valid driver’s license with address that matches demographics; ability to travel to support assignment needs.
- RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
- Fluency in unit-specific procedures; ability to float to multiple ICU/specifically related units as required.
