Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to assigned patients in an acute inpatient setting, including monitoring status and administering medications and treatments per orders.
- Serve as a unit resource, coordinating care with licensed and unlicensed staff, delegating tasks as appropriate to maintain safe, efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans; participate in rounds and care conferences.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, recognize clinical changes, respond with appropriate nursing interventions, and manage equipment and safety monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record; support patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Ensure safety, infection control, regulatory compliance, and adherence to unit policies while supporting service excellence and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or eligibility for Georgia licensure
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment beginning 10/05/2026
- Ability to work Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12) and 36 hours per week
- Experience or comfortable working in an acute inpatient, high-acuity setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
