Registered Nurse - Operating Room (Travel) in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date May 4, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the operating room for vascular, vascular/endovascular, and other surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub personnel to ensure sterile technique and readiness of instruments and supplies
- Monitor intraoperative patient condition, administer medications as ordered, and manage anesthesia-related equipment as needed
- Maintain instrument counts, safety checks, and infection control standards; document intraoperative events accurately
- Support vascular/endovascular procedures with specialized equipment and supplies; anticipate needs during cases
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team and participate in post-procedure handoffs and care planning
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license (Georgia) or eligibility to practice as a Georgia RN
- OR nursing experience with strong vascular/endovascular skills
- Prior travel experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts; flexible for call, holidays, and weekends
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment
