Responsibilities
- Serve as the circulating nurse in the OR, supporting the surgical team and maintaining a safe, sterile field throughout procedures.
- Prepare and position patients, assist with instrument handling, and ensure all required equipment and supplies are available for each case.
- Manage case turnover, assist with counts and specimen handling, and verify patient safety and documentation at case end.
- Pull and prepare next-day cases when scheduled, coordinating with perioperative staff to ensure smooth start and room readiness.
- Monitor for outdates and equipment maintenance needs; respond to urgent or emergent cases as they arise and communicate status to the team.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes and maintain compliance with OR protocols.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Ohio
- OR experience required; OR circulator experience is preferred
- Ability to work 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Availability for 3x12 night shifts (7pm–7am)
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius from the assignment location
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced OR environment and adhere to safety and sterile processing standards
