Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse (ER) traveling to a home healthcare – hospice setting in Los Angeles, California. This assignment starts 07/20/2026 and runs for 13 weeks, with a 3x12-hour day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,659 to $1,727. There are no guaranteed hours for this assignment. The role requires a California RN license and current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, plus HLFS. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in patients’ homes, focusing on symptom management and comfort for hospice patients; coordinate with family to align with care goals
- Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions and ensure safety in the home environment
- Develop and adjust care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; document changes and communicate during shift handoffs
- Provide patient and family education on disease progression, medications, safety measures, and end-of-life care preferences
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain and symptom scores; escalate changes per protocol and coordinate with physicians as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care across transitions
Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS required
- HLFS (Hospital Fire and Life Safety) required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting
