Weekly pay: $1,618 – $1,715 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct care to neuro/step-down patients in the PCU, including frequent neurological assessments and NIHSS as indicated
- Administer prescribed medications, manage IV lines, and monitor for adverse effects; respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Document care in the EPIC electronic medical record with accurate, complete progress notes and timely updates
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate discharge planning
- Ensure patient and staff safety, adhere to infection control practices, and maintain unit equipment and supplies
- Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the care team; participate in rounding and care coordination as appropriate
Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia) orlicensure eligible; current, unrestricted RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of neuro/step-down nursing experience
- NIHSS certification must be included in the CV packet to be considered
- EPIC EMR experience required
- ACLS certification may be considered for strong med/surg candidates with NIHSS and some step-down experience
- Education: Degree from an approved nursing program (ASN or BSN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced neuro/step-down unit; willingness to follow no block scheduling and no weekend requirements
- Profile readiness: resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, Skills Checklist, References, Certification Card, Nursys license verification; load demographic data and badge photo into profile
