Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Tele Job
Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Oncology (Days) in Saint Louis, Missouri. Travel assignment beginning 06/01/2026 for Weeks. Earn $2,081 to $2,196 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3×12-hour Days. Work setting: acute-care hospital unit focused on adult medical-surgical and oncology care (CHNE 4, Medical-Oncology; 28 rooms with 2 comfort care suites).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical oncology patients, including chemotherapy monitoring/administration, port access, and vascular access management
- Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to acute changes and activate rapid response/Code Teams as needed
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders; manage PCA and infusion devices; ensure safe care delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (nursing peers, physicians, case management, social work) and participate in rounds; document in EPIC
- Perform patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of services; uphold infection control and PPE protocols
- Manage isolation precautions and maintain patient safety, including end-of-life care in comfort care suites as applicable
Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license in Missouri required; Missouri license in hand required for submission; Illinois license in hand required if applying from IL (IL not compact); pending/compact licensure accepted per state rules
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; first-time travelers accepted; previous charge experience not required
- Certifications: BCLS (BLS), NIHSS, Fire Safety; ACLS may be required by facility deadlines (confirm per submission)
- Credentials: EPIC experience required (EPIC charting is used)
- Special requirements: Oncology-focused nursing experience including chemotherapy monitoring/port access; telemetry experience; ability to float within scope; on-call not required
- Scheduling notes: No RTO during first week; recommended maximum RTO per 13-week contract is 7 days
- Vaccines: Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions allowed); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Additional: Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of assignment; verify licensure requirements if applicable
