Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – Rehabilitation, Robinson, IL. This travel assignment in a hospital-based rehab setting begins on 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 34 per week. Shift pattern is 5 days with a day shift schedule; specific hours include Monday and Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday and Friday as 8-hour days. Weekly pay ranges from $2,044 to $2,205.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients using physical therapy modalities (e.g., ultrasound, NMES, iontophoresis) and skilled techniques; instruct patients on adaptive/assistive equipment use.
- Supervise and direct Physical Therapy Assistants; collaborate with Rehab team and consult other departments to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
- Perform appropriate patient assessments per physician orders and interpret results within the scope of licensure.
- Design treatment programs for patients with varying disabilities and multi-system needs; set realistic short- and long-term goals with patient/family involvement in care planning.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust plans; ensure timely, accurate documentation and charging in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain safety, participate in performance improvement activities, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active IL Physical Therapist License required
- BLS certification required
- Valid driver’s license and proof of personal auto insurance required
- Minimum 1 year physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- APTA membership preferred
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively
