Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery, Saratoga Springs, NY. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/07/2026 for an undetermined number of weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,080–$2,160 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: inpatient labor & delivery unit with nursery responsibilities in an acute care setting.

- Orientation prerequisites: HealthStream pre-orientation modules must be completed prior to start
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring individuals; monitor fetal status and maternal vitals; administer medications per protocol
- Deliver newborn care in nursery duties and support postpartum care for mothers
- Collaborate with obstetric and nursing teams; respond to obstetric emergencies; participate in patient safety, infection control, and quality initiatives
- Document accurately in the electronic charting system; perform timely shift handoffs and communicate changes to the care team
- Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and newborn care; assist with discharge planning and referrals as appropriate
Requirements
- Current NY RN license in hand
- 3+ years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery with nursery responsibilities; prior travel experience required
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (within past 2 years), BLS, and NRP
- Nursys verification and current certifications on file
- Epic charting experience; ability to float within the hospital as needed
