Radiology Technologist – Mammography, Bethel, AK. This travel assignment starts 06/23/2026 and runs for 13 weeks in a hospital imaging department. Weekly pay ranges from $2,255 to $2,405, with guaranteed 32 hours per week. Shift is Days.

Responsibilities
- Perform imaging examinations, including mammography, for patients from newborn to geriatric, ensuring quality and safety per protocol; corroborate clinical history and appropriate follow-up needs.
- Prepare patients, provide instructions, position and immobilize as needed, obtain informed consent, and assist the radiologist during procedures.
- Operate imaging equipment, select correct protocols, conduct basic QA/QC, transfer images to PACS, and maintain accurate patient records and data storage.
- Verify requests, ensure proper identification and safety measures, apply radiation protection principles, and respond to changes in workflow or emergencies as needed.
- Participate in department operations and training, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and uphold universal precautions and MQSA requirements.
Requirements
- Current ARRT registration (R)(M) or equivalent; ARRT mammography certification required.
- BLS certification current.
- Initial training in digital mammography and tomosynthesis required.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated mammography training preferred; ARRT may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.
- Two years post-graduation experience preferred; unregistered technologists may be considered for Diagnostic Imaging Technician I.
- MQSA-related expectations: 15 breast CEU within 36 months and 200 mammography exams in 24 months preferred.
- COVID vaccination proof may be required for travel assignments.
